A fresh international sire line
Diatonic won ten races from 1200m to 1600m, including the Group 2 Hanshin Cup and two editions of the Group 2 Swan Stakes. A son of Lord Kanaloa, he brings one of Japan’s most respected modern speed lines to Australia. As his oldest progeny are only two-year-olds, this filly gives owners the appeal of joining that story at its beginning.

Frankly Rosie is by Frankel, whose influence is recognised throughout the international thoroughbred industry. This filly is her first foal—an exciting new branch of a family already proven at elite level in Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.

Lord Kanaloa’s speed, through a proven Group performer
Lord Kanaloa was an elite sprinter-miler and has developed into an internationally important sire. His best progeny range from champion Almond Eye to Hong Kong Sprint winner Danon Smash and Australian Blue Diamond winner Tagaloa. Diatonic was one of his most durable sprint-milers: a ten-time winner, three-time Group 2 winner and Group 1 placegetter.

Frankel is becoming an influence through his daughters
Frankel is already among the defining stallions of his era. Beyond his own exceptional sire record, his daughters have produced Group 1 winners—important evidence that his influence is carrying into the next generation. Frankly Rosie introduces Frankel over a female family proven in Australasian and Hong Kong racing.

San Century has produced performance, not merely names
Third dam San Century produced Group 1 Hong Kong Mile winner Glorious Days and Listed juvenile winner Spurcent. Her daughter Azardi produced Group 2 Villiers winner All Legal. Spurcent’s branch later produced Group-class runners including Revolutionary Miss. It is a family with evidence at two, at the elite mile and across generations.

A blend of Japanese, European and Australasian strengths
The displayed four-generation pedigree brings together King Kamehameha, Storm Cat and Sunday Silence above; Galileo, Danehill, Green Desert and Centaine below. There is no obvious close duplication in those four generations, giving the mating a broad international genetic base.
