Why this horse
Fierce Impact’s elite Australian mile form meets a European female family with performance from precocious sprinting through to classic distances. The result is a compelling international colt with depth, toughness and a genuine middle-distance narrative.
Fierce Impact won from 1400m to 2000m and captured three of Australia’s most important Group 1 miles. A son of the legendary Deep Impact, he contributes an elite Japanese sire line, toughness and proven performance at the highest level in Australia.
Etched won over a mile and is a sister to stakes-performed Galateia and half-sister to Ancient Rome and Etoile. Her dam Gagnoa won two Group 3 races and placed in the Prix de Diane, Prix Saint-Alary and Irish Oaks at Group 1 level.
This is a deep international family: Ancient Rome has competed at Group 1 level in Europe and America; Pour Moi won the Epsom Derby; and Pizza Bianca won the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. Speed, classic class and turf performance run throughout the page.
