This is a speed-focused filly with a clear commercial story: Pierata’s Group 1 sprinting ability, Exceed and Excel as broodmare sire and Imperatriz close in the female family. For owners attracted to sharp Australian bloodlines and future residual appeal, she stands out.
The sire line
Pierata won nine races and the Group 1 All Aged Stakes. A son of Pierro from a Flying Spur mare, he combines elite sprinting performance with a strong Australian commercial pedigree; his first crops have already produced stakes winners and Group performers.
The dam
Wazamba won over 1100m and was metropolitan-placed as a two-year-old. She is a half-sister to ten-time winner Vinco and Berimbau, the Group 2-placed dam of Imperatriz. Her progeny include current Thoroughbred Solutions runner Vega Blues.
The family
Imperatriz won 19 races from 1000m to 1600m, ten at Group 1 level, and was recognised as a champion sprinter in both Australia and New Zealand. The family also includes Group 2 Todman winner Royal Courtship, reinforcing its speed and juvenile quality.
